Welcome Panel 59, and congratulations on your new positions.
As you may have noticed, there have been a few changes here on our website. We’ve tried to update the site to include the names of the new Officers, DCMS, and Standing Committee Chairs where possible. After our January Orientation Assembly we should have updates everywhere. Until then, if you can’t find something feel free to contact me.
At the assembly there will be a presentation on how to use all our new tools, so if you are a bit confused with everything you’ve got to learn, don’t worry, help is on the way.

Aloha All,
First of all I want to say what a spiritual experience the election was last
week. Thank you all for the opportunity to continue to serve AA!
There is a request from the Trustees Finance Committee that we gather input
from the Fellowship on the benefits and liabilities, both spiritual and
practical, of fully funding GSO Services to the Fellowship (GSO Functional
expenses) by the voluntary contributions of AA members and Groups. Input is
due January 30th, 2009.
To facilitate this, Vernon and I have come up with a plan to get this done,
as it straddles both of our Panels, time wise.
DCMs and GSRs: Please share the attached document with your groups over the
next 2 months, and be prepared to have one person from each district give a
brief report of the results at the Orientation Assembly.
I know this will be challenging in some instances due to rotation, but
please work together (outgoing and incoming DCMS/GSRs) and try to get input
for the Orientation Assembly.
